Welcome to Chester County and the beautiful Brandywine Valley...
The Brandywine Valley is a magical place where many have been inspired. Chester County is home to Longwood Gardens, the inspiration of Pierre S. du Pont. Other du Pont treasures: Hagley, Neumours and Winterthur also grace our countryside. Three generations of the famed artistic Wyeth family were inspired by the region and the Brandywine River Museum houses the work of N.C., Andrew and Jamie Wyeth among other American artists. Media giant QVC is headquartered in Chester County, producing 24-hour broadcasts and offering behind-the-scenes studio tours. Local wineries have flourished and the Brandywine Valley Wine Trail features tours, tastings, special events and more. And that's only half the story!
